The Little Maumelle River is a hidden jewel in Little Rock, Arkansas. It's right in the northwestern part of the city, but only 5 minutes of canoeing into it puts you into a paradise that feels like wilderness. If there was ever a place for a "water trail", this is it! This place needs to be preserved and protected.
