The Narrows - jc photos

NOTE: This is one of those places that's difficult to capture with a single photo, no matter what lens, so many of these are panoramas. File sizes of the "full-size" shot can be almost 3MB. Also, each one can be viewed at several smaller sizes.

If you look at the panoramas full-size and pan using the sliders, you get a better sense for what this interesting place is like.

Most of these shots were taken with a Canon SX10 IS (my 'hiking camera'). Some were taken with a Canon EOS 10D, 17-40mm f/4L lens, B&W circular polarizer, hand held. Even the panoramas were taken hand held (stitched with Autopano Pro).
