Wildcat Loop Trail - Dec-21-2008

This was an 8.6 mile hike on the Wildcat Mountain Bike Trail (WMBT), doing the entire loop. The WMBT is made for mountain biking and consists almost entirely of old two-track forest logging roads. There is no single-track trail. Even the one piece that used to be single-track has been "ATV'd" to become double-track (ATV tracks).

Its a great place to get exercise and see some beautiful Ouachita Forest. There are several ways to make the loop shorter. If you do the whole loop, its 8.55 miles, at least according to my GPS.
