Finally... we reached the river (or close to it). This is where the trail almost reaches the river. This photo was taken looking north. The trail on the left is the way we arrived... the trail on the right is the continuation of the hike. As seen here, the 'trail' is very open, wide and flat. Easy walking in beautiful river bottom Ouachita forest.
