October 14, 2007 day hike to Crystal Prong Creek Ouachita Trail crossing. As a day hike, it starts at mile 179.2 at a parking area just under Flatside Pinnacle and decends 2 miles into the valley (west) towards Crystal Prong Creek. Round trip is about 4 miles... downhill all the way in and uphill all the way out.
