October 14, 2007 - Day hike on Ouachita Trail. Starts at parking under Flatside Pinnacle and goes about 2.3 miles to the Ouachita Trail crossing of Crystal Prong Creek. Total distance is about 4.5 miles. This entire hike is in Flatside Wilderness. (Click on the image to enlarge and then enlarge to maximum for detail) The point labeled "A" is an old camping area that was over-used and camping here is discouraged. It's a nice place for lunch on a dayhike.
