179.4 to 180 - 12-25-2008 (Flatside)

Christmas day hike to Flatside Pinnacle. We parked at mile 180 of the OT, where it crosses a forest road. From there, heading west, the trail climbs about 300 feet up to Flatside Pinnacle. Round trip was about 1.4 miles. This was just a stroll with visiting family on a beautiful Christmas day afternoon.

This is a nice, short, easy dayhike for those wanting to stroll around and enjoy the views.
