How to use this site...

There are two main "areas" of this website...   the text pages (where you are now) and the photo gallery.  Most of the "content" is in the photo galleries.

Text pages:     Mainly hike descriptions, all of which are linked to photo pages.  There are pages for the Ouachita Trail specifically, divided by section.  Anyone can add a comment.  There are external links and there's also a forum, recently activated, but rarely used (so far).  In the near future I hope to include GPS maps and other info of interest to hikers/backpackers.

Ouachita Trail:   The OT has its own tab at the top and its own pages (new as of Mar 28, 2008).  There is a page for each section of the OT.

Photo gallery:  Over 600 photos of trails, hikes, flowers, creatures, etc...  in the Ouachita Mountains.   The photo gallery is organized by type of hike and by on-trail vs. off-trail.   For the Ouachita National Recreation Trail (OT), which is over 200 miles long, the photos are organized by section and OT mile (from western end).
