Arkansas Backcountry forum - worth a look

There is a relatively new forum out there called Arkansas Backcountry.   Its basically a site for discussion of anything related to hiking and backpacking in the wilds of Arkansas, from the Ouachita Trail to Hemmed-In-Hollow and beyond.   It is not restricted to the Ouachita Mountains, but many of the members are local to the Ouachitas and are very knowledgeable about hikes in this area.   Its a very friendly group that will try their best to answer questions.  As the site membership grows, it will become an even more valuable resource to the hiking community.   Check it out!  -jc  August 25, 2008
