New hike description - Bell Slough Wildlife Management Area
Sept. 7, 2008 - New hike description page and photo gallery page added today: Bell Slough Wildlife Management Area nature trails and wildlife viewing area. The actual hike pictured in the photos was on October 18, 2003 (and there are more in the backlog!).
Bell Slough is a 2,050 acre area near Little Rock and Conway, where there are about 2.3 miles of nature trails, several wildlife viewing blinds and a signed nature trail with tree-identification signs. Very nice for birding, wildlife, wildflower viewing or just an easy walk in the woods.
The trails here were in good condition as of October 2003. If anyone knows of changes in the trails since then, please leave a comment.
